How we work, step by step
Every project at OZGN Studio runs through the same eight steps, from the first email to launch and what comes after. One team does the design and the code, so you talk to the people who build the product.
The eight steps
Strategy & Planning
We start with your goals, users and the problem the product needs to solve. We define the functionality, technology approach, scope and development stages before we start building.
You get: An agreed list of functionality, the technology approach, the scope and the development stages, fixed before anything is built.
Product Architecture
We design how the product works under the hood - system architecture, data, API integrations, AI models and external services. We select technologies based on the product's requirements, performance and potential for future growth.
You get: The system design: how data, integrations, AI models and external services fit together, and why each technology was chosen.
UX/UI Design
We map user flows and structure through wireframes and prototypes before designing each interface. We work closely with you throughout the design process until the final direction is approved.
You get: Wireframes and prototypes of the user flows, then the finished interface design, approved by you before development.
Frontend Development
We turn the approved design into a fast, responsive and precisely developed interface for web or mobile. Performance, accessibility and a seamless user experience are built into the development process from the start.
You get: A fast, responsive interface for web or mobile that matches the approved design.
Backend & AI
We build the logic behind the product - backend systems, databases, API integrations, automations and AI functionality. The architecture is designed with security, stability and scalability in mind.
You get: The working logic behind the product: backend, databases, API integrations, automations and AI features.
Testing
We test functionality, interfaces, integrations, performance and security. We identify and resolve issues before they reach real users.
You get: A product checked for functionality, interfaces, integrations, performance and security, with issues fixed before real users see them.
Content & Optimization
We prepare the product for real-world use - content, SEO, metadata and platform-specific optimizations. For web products, the technical SEO foundation is built in before launch.
You get: Content, SEO and metadata in place, plus the optimizations the platform needs. For web products the technical SEO foundation exists before launch.
Launch & Growth
We deploy the product to its live environment - web, App Store, Google Play or the required infrastructure. We monitor its performance after launch and can continue with maintenance, optimization and the development of new features.
You get: The product live on the web, the App Store, Google Play or the infrastructure it needs, and monitoring of how it performs after launch.

- Write to us. Describe what you have in mind, who it is for and what it should do.
- We reply within one business day. We read it and answer with questions about your goals, your users and the problem to solve, or tell you honestly if the project is not a fit.
- We agree the scope. Functionality, technology approach, scope and development stages are defined before building starts, as in the first step of our process.
- Terms, then kickoff. Confidentiality and ownership of the design and code are settled in clear terms before work begins, and the project opens with Strategy & Planning.
Who does what
Design and code come from the same team, so a design decision and the code behind it are made together.
You bring the goals, the users and the problem to solve, and you give feedback in the design stage until the final direction is approved. We take care of architecture, design, development, testing and launch.
Handover and support after launch
Confidentiality and ownership of the design and code are settled in clear terms before work begins, so what we build belongs to you. We deploy the product to its live environment ourselves. After launch we monitor how it performs, and if you want, we continue with technical maintenance, optimization and new features.

How does a project start?
It starts by email at hello@ozgnstudio.com. Describe what you have in mind, who it is for and what it should do. We reply within one business day with questions about your goals, users and the problem to solve, or tell you honestly if the project is not a fit.
What do I decide, and what do you decide?
You decide the goals, who the product is for and whether the design is right. We propose the architecture and technology based on the product's requirements, performance needs and room to grow, and we explain the reasons. You approve the design before development starts.
Do you need a complete product, or can you work on one part?
We can build a whole product from scratch or work on one part of an existing one: an AI feature, a new module, an integration, the frontend, the backend or optimization. In both cases the scope and stages are agreed before building starts.
Who owns the design and the code?
Confidentiality and ownership of the design and code are settled in clear terms before work begins. The product we build belongs to you.
What happens after launch?
We monitor the product's performance after launch. We can continue with technical maintenance, optimization and new features, and we can adapt the infrastructure as the product grows.
Do you also help with marketing?
Yes. We work in partnership with The Blacks, a digital marketing and communications company. When needed, we connect product development with a broader marketing strategy, social media management and paid advertising.
