Native mobile app development services for iOS and Android, from concept and UX/UI to development, integrations and publishing on the App Store and Google Play.

We develop native mobile applications for iOS and Android - from concept and UX/UI to development, integrations and publishing on the App Store and Google Play. Each application is built specifically for its platform to deliver high performance, stability and a natural user experience.

What's included

Native iOS and Android apps

Each application is built specifically for its platform, which gives it high performance, stability and the behaviour people expect from an iPhone or Android app. You can start with one platform or launch on both. Our guide to native app development explains when native pays off.

Concept and UX/UI

We define the app's goal, users and scope, then map flows with wireframes and prototypes before designing each screen. You approve the direction before development starts.

Development and integrations

The approved design becomes a fast, precisely built app, connected to a backend, APIs, AI functionality and platform services. On iPhone that can include Apple Health and Apple Watch data.

Backend and AI

Accounts, databases, sync and the logic behind the app, built with security, stability and scalability in mind. When the app needs AI functionality, it is part of the same build.

App Store and Google Play publishing

We prepare and publish native applications on the App Store and Google Play and help with the technical requirements of both platforms. After launch we can continue with updates and new features.

Who it's for

  • Businesses whose customers come back often, often enough to keep an app on their phone: bookings, loyalty, accounts or daily tools.
  • Founders with an app idea who want one team for concept, design, development and publishing, instead of separate designers and developers.
  • Products that depend on the phone itself: the camera, health data, a watch or notifications, where an app built specifically for the platform performs best.
  • Teams with an existing app that need a new module, an integration, a backend or better performance without rebuilding the whole app.

How a project runs

A mobile project follows our eight steps. We start with goals, users and scope, then design the architecture: data, API integrations, AI models and external services. UX/UI design with wireframes and prototypes comes before any screen is built. Frontend and Backend & AI development follow, then testing of functionality, interfaces, integrations, performance and security, and finally launch on the App Store, Google Play or both.

The same team designs and builds the app, so what you approve in the prototype is what ships. Ownership of the design and code is defined at the start. After launch a support period is included: we monitor the app, fix technical issues and can continue with updates and new features.

01 · Strategy & Planning

We start with your goals, users and the problem the product needs to solve. We define the functionality, technology approach, scope and development stages before we start building.

03 · UX/UI Design

We map user flows and structure through wireframes and prototypes before designing each interface. We work closely with you throughout the design process until the final direction is approved.

04 · Frontend Development

We turn the approved design into a fast, responsive and precisely developed interface for web or mobile. Performance, accessibility and a seamless user experience are built into the development process from the start.

05 · Backend & AI

We build the logic behind the product - backend systems, databases, API integrations, automations and AI functionality. The architecture is designed with security, stability and scalability in mind.

06 · Testing

We test functionality, interfaces, integrations, performance and security. We identify and resolve issues before they reach real users.

08 · Launch & Growth

We deploy the product to its live environment - web, App Store, Google Play or the required infrastructure. We monitor its performance after launch and can continue with maintenance, optimization and the development of new features.

How a project starts

Everything starts by email, at hello@ozgnstudio.com.

  1. Write to us. Describe the app idea, the platform (iPhone, Android or both) and who it is for.
  2. We reply within one business day. We read it and answer with questions about your goals, your users and the problem to solve, or tell you honestly if the project is not a fit.
  3. We agree the scope. Functionality, technology approach, scope and development stages are defined before building starts, as in the first step of our process.
  4. Terms, then kickoff. Confidentiality and ownership of the design and code are settled in clear terms before work begins, and the project opens with Strategy & Planning.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Questions

Do you build native or cross-platform apps?

We develop native mobile applications for iOS and Android. Each application is built specifically for its platform, which is how it gets high performance, stability and a natural user experience: navigation, gestures and system features behave the way users of that platform expect. Native development also gives the app direct access to platform services, such as Apple Health and Apple Watch data on iPhone. If you are weighing native against cross-platform, our guide to native app development covers the trade-offs.

Do you handle publishing to the App Store and Google Play?

Yes. We handle the preparation and publishing process for native applications on the App Store and Google Play and assist with the technical requirements of both platforms. Publishing is part of the Launch & Growth step of our process, and after release we can keep shipping updates, optimizations and new features to both stores.

Can you build an iPhone app that works with Apple Watch?

Yes. On iPhone an app can read Apple Watch data (heart rate, activity, workouts and sleep) through Apple Health and turn it into something useful for the user, such as a daily plan. The watch keeps measuring in the background, so the data is ready when the user opens the app. When your idea depends on wearable or health data, we plan those integrations in the Product Architecture step, together with the backend and any AI functionality the app needs.

Can the app connect to our backend, AI or other services?

Yes. Integrations are part of every mobile project. In the Backend & AI step we build or connect the systems behind the app: backend services, databases, API integrations, automations and AI functionality, designed for security, stability and scalability. If you already have a backend or a web platform, the app can work with it.

Do you only work on complete products?

No. We can build an entire product from scratch or work on a specific part of an existing one - an AI feature, a new module, an integration, frontend, backend or optimization. For mobile that can mean adding a feature to an app you already publish, building the backend or an integration it needs, or improving its performance. We look at the existing code and architecture first, then work on the part you need through the same plan, build, test and launch steps.

What happens after launch?

We can continue with technical maintenance, optimization and ongoing product development. This can include new features, improvements to existing systems and infrastructure that evolves as the product grows. Mobile apps need this more than most products, because iOS and Android change every year and store requirements change with them. A post-launch support period is included with every product; after it, we can continue with updates, optimization and new features.
